How to redeem your eGift

Access the link

You will receive an email from Giftaway via your Manulife China Bank-registered email address and/or mobile number. This will include a link to your eGift code.

Open the eGift webpage

Tap "Open Gift" to view your eGift code and a list of merchants where you can redeem your eGift.

Choose your reward

Tap on your preferred Giftaway merchant or store. 

Instructions for redeeming the eGift will vary per merchant. Make sure to check the merchant's terms and conditions to know more about how you can use the eGift.

Got questions about Manulife Online?

  1. The 2024 Manulife Online Mobile App Promo ("Promo") is open to individual Policyholders who -
    • have at least one (1) in-force policy issued by The Manufacturers Life Insurance Co. (Phils.), Inc. or Manulife China Bank Life Assurance Corporation (either entity or collectively, “Manulife”) ("Manulife Customer/s") that remains in-force throughout the duration of the Promo Period, 
    • are opted in receiving marketing or commercial emails from Manulife, and
    • have received the promo emails from Manulife.
  2. The Promo will run from March 1 to May 31, 2024 ("Promo Period"). Manulife, at its sole discretion, shall have the right to shorten or lengthen the Promo Period.
  3. The Promo’s eGift redemption period will be from March 1 to December 31, 2024 (“Redemption Period”), subject to change as Manulife may determine.
  4. The Manulife Customer/s shall be disqualified from the Promo in the event that their policy is found to be invalid or lapsed, or if the policy is suspended, cancelled, or terminated within the Promo Period or until the time of claiming of the raffle prize.
  5. Manulife Customers who are found by Manulife to be using different names, providing false information, engaging in fraud, unauthorized activity or abuse of the Promo Terms and Conditions, or are ineligible to join the Promo for whatever reason, shall likewise be disqualified.
  6. In case of any dispute, Manulife shall have the sole discretion to determine and decide who is eligible to join the Promo.
  7. By registering for a Manulife Online account and/or logging into Manulife Online during the Promo Period, the Manulife Customer/s will be entitled to a ₱200 Giftaway eGift voucher and one (1) electronic raffle entry for a chance to be the grand raffle prize winner of ₱100,000 worth of Giftaway eGift vouchers. This will be sent to the Manulife Customer via their Manulife-registered email address.
  8. In the event that the Manulife Customer/s has not registered for an account with Manulife Online, they can register for an account by following the steps below:

    • Step 1: Open the Manulife Online Mobile App or go to https://online.manulife.com.ph/ and tap “Register” from the login page
    • Step 2: Sign up using their Manulife-registered email address, mobile number, and date of birth.
    • Step 3: Once successfully registered, the Manulife Customer/s must log in to their Manulife Online account.
    • Note: If the Manulife Customer/s does not have their updated contact information on record, they must first update their contact information to register to Manulife Online and qualify for the Promo. To do this, they must fill in the Customer Information Update form and email the duly accomplished form to Customer Care at phcustomercare@manulife.com. They’ll receive a confirmation email from Manulife within 1-2 business days once their contact information has successfully been updated. Once they have received this, they can proceed with their Manulife Online registration.
  9. Eligible Manulife Customer/s can only join this Promo once during the Promo Period.
  10. Drawing of winners
    • Manulife will draw one (1) grand raffle prize winner for the ₱100,000 worth of Giftaway eGift vouchers via an electronic raffle draw which will be held on June 17, 2024.  
    • The one (1) Manulife Customer whose name is drawn as the grand raffle prize winner will be subject to verification by Manulife to ensure that he/she has at least one (1) policy that is in-force at the time of the draw and until the claiming of the raffle prize and that he/she is opted in marketing or commercial messages from Manulife at the time of the draw and until the claiming of the raffle prize.
  11. Promo-eligible Manulife Customers entitled to a ₱200 eGift will receive their prizes from Giftaway via their Manulife-registered email address upon Manulife’s confirmation of their successful log in.
  12. The grand raffle prize winner will receive an email from Manulife via their Manulife-registered email address within three (3) business days from the Draw Date. Likewise, the winner will also be contacted via mobile by a Manulife representative within one (1) business day from the receipt of the email to inform them that they have won the grand raffle prize.
  13. The grand raffle prize winner will receive the ₱100,000 worth of eGift vouchers from Giftaway via their Manulife-registered email address and/or mobile number within seven (7) business days after their successful callout with the Manulife representative.
  14. The eGift vouchers will be valid until December 31, 2024. After the Redemption Period, all unclaimed eGift vouchers will be forfeited in favor of Manulife.
  15. Promo-eligible Manulife Customer/s who receive the eGift vouchers can use them in participating Giftaway merchant partners nationwide that honor the corresponding eGift denomination (https://manulife.giftaway.ph/universal/) by presenting their eGift code.
  16. eGift vouchers are non-transferable and non-convertible to any other form of compensation.
  17. All redemptions are final. Manulife Customer/s will be responsible for safekeeping their eGift vouchers. Manulife, Giftaway, and the participating Giftaway outlets/merchants shall not be obliged for whatever reason to refund or replace the eGift vouchers once they are redeemed, lost, or used.
  18. For any problems or concerns regarding the Giftaway eGift vouchers, Manulife Customer/s shall address the same to Giftaway by contacting Giftaway at support@giftaway.ph.
  19. Manulife Customer/s may only join the Promo once during the Promo Period regardless of the number of in-force policies they have during the Promo Period.
  20. By joining this Promo, the Manulife Customer/s understands and agrees that Manulife, including its employees or representatives, any member of the Manulife Financial Group of Companies, and its third party service providers (whether within or outside the Philippines) can process, share, disclose, transfer or use their personal and sensitive information to communicate with, service and get feedback from customers on the Company's products and services; conduct data analytics, profiling and automated data processing; comply with any reportorial and regulatory requirements, legal and contractual obligations of Manulife as a member company of the Manulife Financial Group to both local and foreign regulatory and tax authorities, supervisory or enforcement agencies, courts or quasi-judicial bodies; and for other reasonable purposes related to the services provided or improvement/upgrade in systems and business processes.
  21. Employees, contractors, agents, and representatives of the Manulife Financial Group of Companies, its affiliates and agencies, and their relatives within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity, are not eligible to win as the grand raffle prize winner of the Manulife Online Mobile App Promo raffle.
  22. By participating in the Promo, Promo-eligible Manulife Customer/s who will receive the P200 eGift, and the grand raffle prize winner who will receive the P100,000 worth of eGift vouchers agree to hold Manulife free and harmless from any loss, injury or damage caused by or arising from the Promo or caused by or that may arise from their acceptance, use of, and/or failure to use the eGift vouchers.
  23. The Promo cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, privileges, or VIP cards. Discounts and privileges are not exchangeable for or convertible to cash, credit or other goods and services unless otherwise explicitly provided. The eGift vouchers will not be convertible to payment for premiums.
  24. Manulife is not an agent of Giftaway or of any of the participating merchants or outlets and makes no representation as to the quality of the goods and services provided. All feedback regarding quality of the goods and services provided should be directed to the respective merchant or outlet.
  25. All questions or disputes regarding the Promo will be resolved by Manulife management at their sole discretion, and their decision shall be final. The promo-eligible Manulife Customer/s waives any right to contest Manulife’s final decision in any court or other governmental authority or agency.
  26. By participating in this Promo, Manulife Customer/s who are awarded eGift vouchers in the Promo agree to the announcement and publication of their names in Manulife's marketing materials in Manulife-branded online platforms: public websites (www.manulife.com.ph or www.manulife-chinabank.com.ph), Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com./ManulifePH/) and Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/manulifeph/). 

1.     Am I eligible to join this Promo?

You are eligible to join this Promo for as long as you are a Manulife China Bank customer who -

  • has at least one (1) policy in force with Manulife China Bank throughout the duration of the prom period,
  • has opted in marketing or commercial messages from Manulife China Bank, and
  • has received the promo emails from Manulife China Bank. 

Note: This Promo is not open to corporate customers and joint owners.

2.     What is the Promo Period?

This Promo will run from March 1 to May 31, 2024.

3.     How do I qualify for this Promo?

Register and/or log in to Manulife Online within the Promo Period to get a ₱200 eGift voucher and one (1) raffle entry for a chance to win ₱100,000 worth of eGift vouchers! To qualify for this Promo, your policy/ies must remain in-force throughout the Promo Period and time of awarding.

4.     I haven’t registered for a Manulife Online account yet. What do I need to register and how do I do it?

To register for a Manulife Online account, make sure you have at least one (1) in-force policy with Manulife China Bank and have your updated contact information on record. Then, just follow the steps below: 

  • Step 1: Open the Manulife Online Mobile App in your mobile device or visit https://online.manulife.com.ph/. Then, tap “Register” from the login page.
  • Step 2: Enter your Manulife China Bank-registered information (email and mobile number) and date of birth.
  • Step 3: Enter the one-time password (OTP) to verify the registration request.
  • Step 4: Nominate a password and log in! 

5.     I cannot register to Manulife Online because my contact information is not updated on your records. Can I still join the Promo?

Yes, you can still join this Promo. But, before registering for a Manulife Online account, you must update your contact information by completing the Customer Information Update form. Then, submit the duly accomplished form to Customer Care via email at phcustomercare@manulife.com.

You will receive a confirmation email from Manulife China Bank within one (1) business day once your contact information has successfully been updated on our records. Once you receive this email, you may proceed with your Manulife Online registration.

6.     I tried registering to Manulife Online, but I keep getting an error message that my personal details do not match your records. What do I do now?

Please double check for any typos or errors in the submitted form and ensure you are entering your Manulife China Bank-registered contact information. Your personal details should match what we have in our records.

However, if you think you are getting an error because your contact information is not updated in our records, you must update your contact information first by following the steps in FAQ#5. For further assistance, you may also call Customer Care at +632 8884 7000.

7.     I tried registering to Manulife Online, but I got an error message saying that my registration is unsuccessful and that Manulife is unable to proceed with my registration. What could be the problem?

If you’re sharing the same email address with a family member, it is possible that they have already registered to Manulife Online using the same email you are trying to register with. To proceed with your Manulife Online registration, you must nominate a new email address by updating your email address on our records. To do this, you can update your contact information by submitting the Customer Information Update form to Customer Care. Once your contact information has been updated on our records, you may proceed with the registration.

8.     I cannot log in to my account. What could be the problem?

Check if you are keying in the correct email address and password. If you are sure about the information you entered, but are still unable to log in, you may click on “Reset Password” link to reset your password.

9.     I forgot my password. How do I log back in?

To reset your password, you need to:

  • Go to the login page by opening the Manulife Online Mobile App or visiting online.manulife.com.ph and tap on “Reset Password”.
  • Enter the email address registered to Manulife Online, then tap on “Continue”. When keying in your email address, make sure that there are no extra spaces before or after the email address.
  • Enter the OTP you will receive, then tap on “Proceed”.
  • If you entered the correct OTP, you will be redirected to a new page where you need to tap “Set Password”.
  • Enter your new password. 

10.  What are the rules for creating my password?

To maximize your account’s security, you will need to nominate a password with the following requirements:

a.      Must be eight (8) characters or more,

b.      Must have at least one (1) uppercase letter and one (1) lowercase letter, and

c.       Must have at least one (1) number

You are also not allowed to:

  • Reuse your previous password,
  • Use sign in ID or email address as password,
  • Use 4 sequential numbers or letters (eg. 123 or abc), and
  • Use 4 repetitive numbers or letters (111 or aaa).

11.  When will I receive my ₱200 eGift voucher?

You’ll receive your ₱200 eGift via your Manulife China Bank-registered email address upon Manulife’s confirmation of your successful login.

12.   Where can I use the eGift vouchers?

The eGift can be used in any of Giftaway's merchant partners that honor the corresponding eGift denomination. Make sure to review the terms and conditions of your chosen merchant, as these terms vary per merchant. 

13.  I earned a raffle entry from this Promo. How will I know if I’ve won?

If you’ve been drawn as the grand raffle prize winner, you’ll receive an email from Manulife China Bank via your Manulife China Bank-registered email address within three (3) business days after the Draw Date. A Manulife China Bank representative will also reach out to you via your mobile number to inform you of your prize one (1) day after the receipt of the email.

Please note that your policy/ies must remain in-force throughout the Promo Period and time of awarding for you to be entitled to claim the grand raffle prize. Terminating your Manulife China Bank policy during the Promo Period, the time of the draw, and until the claiming of the raffle prize will automatically disqualify you from the Promo.

14.  I received a notification that I won the raffle! Can I convert my prize to cash instead?

No, eGift prizes are non-convertible to cash or any other form of compensation. However, you may choose to redeem your eGifts as e-wallet credits in select Giftaway partner merchants.
